Oklahoma had many porcelain city license plates prior to the first state-issued plates in 1915. Cities included Anadarko, Bartlesville, Chickasha, Collinsville, Cordell, Dewey, El Reno, Gage, Hobart, Kingfisher, Lawton, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sapulpa, Shawnee, and the City of Tulsa, which had issued the most of all the counties. Here are several examples of these in my collection. The #M11 is a very large plate from Muskogee.
